Dear friends,

I have encountered a couple of (hopefully easy to solve/stupid mistakes) with the YAWL 3.0 Editor.

1) Editor refusing to open specification files

I saved a specs file (a simple one, which I verified when saving) and when I try to open it (clicking File -> Open..., or File -> Open Recent or even dragging and dropping it from Windows file explorer) the Editor just does nothing at all, and does not throw any error messages either.

However, if I create a new file, everything seems to be working. Additionally, I have another, older file, which DOES open by any of the methods mentioned above.

(The one which does not open has subnets and multiple instance composite tasks but, other than that, I cannot see any differences that could possibly lead to different behaviors :-/)

2) When I load from the repository a net I had previously stored, it does load it, but with all elements so crammed together, collapsed the ones on top of the others, that I have to "stretch" out the graph before resuming work. This is kind of weird :-/.

Any hints, suggestions, indications.. are very much welcome by this novice user!

Hi, can you upload the file that you are talking about or send it to me by eMail?

Also, can you update the editor to the latest version via Help-> Check for Update in the top menu bar

Hi,

I think I have the same problem then stated above, when opening a saved file adding one state and save it again the layout is corrupted.
Here are screens from before and after.
We already have the newest version so that can't be the problem.

Hope to hear something soon.

Can you please post the before and after .yawl files? This will allow the problem to be analysed, thanks
