The web based editor for YAWL, a project that was started some time ago at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University is now available here.

If you want to model processes using the YAWL notation, this gives you the possibility. The Signavio editor for YAWL does not have the functionality for automating processes. It is NOT meant as a replacement for the full YAWL editor that has just been released.

There is a paper by Felix Mannhardt, the main developer of this editor, that appeared in the proceedings of the YAWL Symposium 2013 and also an article on this forum if you want to know more.

For the benefit of anyone else please note that the Signavio editor is only available to academic users and your credentials will be asked for during registration. If you are not an academic user then you are directed to different registration page. On registration you are shown a selection of modelling tools, non of which is the YAWL editor in question. The BPMN 2.0 editor is available for a 30-day trial. This editor is based the Oryx editor which is freely available elsewhere and with no strings attached.

So, unless you are an academic user, save yourself the bother and don't register since you're being offered practically nothing.
